Look what mom did to me today because of rainmageddon
She says I look like Dobby the house elf from Harry Potter. Sigh. The things I put up with.

Hi The Mango!
You are so lucky that you get to help pick out the meat! I love chicken, really really really love chicken. And turkey. And lamb. Mom won’t share her steak with me, so I am not sure about that.
This is me today, I am BORED. SO very very BORED:
Mom and I were playing last Friday on one of our walks. And she says I “klobbered” her. I don’t know what that means but Mom has been laying down and yelling OW OW OW and not able to stand up straight and we haven’t been going on any long walks. Mom says she’s hurt, and I am frustrated because I don’t know how to help her and at the same time, whenever we go outside, I get so excited because I am BORED and then Mom’s back hurts again and… sigh…. I just don’t know what to do. I hope she feels better soon.

this is a picture of me in my favorite chair. I like to bark at people in the alley and bank parking lot. It's fun.
Hi The Mango!
That’s very weird that the good smelling dog didn’t bark or play with you. You’ll have to get to the bottom of that and let me know.
I had such a good night tonight! Mom took me for a walk and we ran into Gus’s Mama and I got to play in Gus’s yard with Gus for a bit. Gawd, he is such a handsome boy. I think I might love him. Mom told Gus’s Mama about this blog, so maybe… maybe he will play with me again!
Mom’s friend Loren came over for dinner tonight and she is good people. She gives great head scratches and properly commented on my beauty. I hope I see her again. Mom said I was a very good dog tonight, so I am hopeful!
OK I need to get Mom off that darn computer so she can snuggle me and scratch my back!

Hi Mango!
I’m glad to hear your Daddy is home and you got to play!! I don’t have a Daddy and I know sometimes this bums Mom out, but between you and me, I like having her all to myself. Speaking of that…
We went to Griffith Park on Saturday to hike with some of Mom’s friends and their dogs. Ajax is a handsome and cool dog, I had fun with him and the ladies! Here is a picture of me and Mom with Maria, Ajax and Erika.
Then we went back to Griffith Park today and I thought we were going to hike again but no — we went to the dog park!! Since it was raining it was just me and a black lab they called Shadow and a beautiful Doberman girl.
Well apparently Mom was there to see about adopting Shadow, who she says she would call Walter. (I am so glad she didn’t change my name!) Shadow/Walter was pretty darn cute, but he’s barely more than a PUPPY and a BOY and well, gosh, that just sounds like a nightmare to me. Mom likes her peace, quiet and SHOES and when she found out Walter/Shadow gets nervous and chews shoes, I thought Mom was going to be sick. But I am secretly glad its just me and Mom.
I found so many balls while I was at the doggie park and I tried to bring one home with me but Mom kept saying it was “filthy” and “dirty” and “disease ridden.” After she pried it out of my mouth and threw it away from me, I wiggled out of my collar and went after it and wouldn’t let it go! I outsmarted Mom! YAY!
Until… we stopped to get gas on the way home (Mom got lost trying to get out of the park and was worried we’d run out of gas AND her phone battery was almost dead and not charging… it was not pretty) ANYWAY, I thought I had hidden the ball well, but Mom found it and threw it in the garbage! NOT FAIR!!!
Anyway, that’s all from here. It’s cold and rainy again here, so my walks are shorter. I hope the sun comes out again soon, cause mom walks me for hours and hours when she can also work on her tan at the same time!
Have a good week Mango!

Hi Koko Moe!
No big weekend plans here. But my daddy came HOME! DADDY’S HOME! He was gone for a long time doing some work, he says, but I don’t know how long because as a dog, I have no real sense of time. But I know it was a LONG TIME!! So I put lots of kisses on him and laid with him while he slept because he was reallly tired!
It is really hot here, like I think it might be spring! But maybe not because I see no leaves! But it be warm and sunny, so I been running around our backyard playing fetch with Mama and Daddy. My favorite thing to fetch is a big stick. My neighbor friend John with the beard always brings me sticks!
Today I laid on the bed in the sunshine, then my Mama let me outside! It is SO NICE! Mama says we will go soon to a dog park, there are two new ones around here, she says! They are both a car ride, but I LOVE CAR RIDES!!!
Talk soon!
Wags and kisses,
The Mango
P.S. I would stay away from ANYTHING chocolate because it not good to eat your own kind!

Hi Mango!
What are your weekend plans? Mom is trying to arrange a play date for me either with my friend Bernie or with a new dog named Shadow that she says might become my brother. COOL. I love doggie play time. Did I tell you about the doggie country club I went to a couple of weeks ago? OMG it was so awesome. They had pools and water spout things and shallow ponds and lots and lots of grass to run around on. I got to play with another choco pup named Charlie and a beautiful yellow lab lady named Gabby. I want to go back there so bad!!!
Here is a picture of my pal Bernie when he came over to my house on Christmas Eve. He is fun. And very handsome. But a little short for me. I am smitten with Gus, the German Shepherd with the bent ear down the block.
Anyway, Mom and I just got back from a nice long walk and she is eating something that smells delicious so I am going to go see if I can charm her into giving me a bite with my big brown choco eyes.
